Week 98 (Un Pobre Forastero)

This week we got through some of my "lasts" as a missionary. We had zone conference this past week and it was so surreal and crazy to be up on the stage saying goodbye to everyone. Didn't think that day would ever come. But it did, not much I can do about it now, so we'll just get back to work and make the best of what we got left.

We had a good week! Other than the zone conference it was pretty normal. There weren't any big swings or huge surprises. But we still saw miracles everyday! Our teaching pool is growing and we're feeling better. We're working a lot more with the members and it's been super good and we've seen lots of blessings and we'll be primed for a really good last month here in Cornellà. I'll keep you all updated on all the fun news

Un Pobre Forastero:
It's what we did for our musical number for Zone Conference. It's "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief". It has become one of my favorite hymns in the mission. I love the story and the message that it shares. It's pretty awesome. It kinda felt like a full circle moment. It reminded me of my first zone conference when I got to play the piano as well for the musical number. If you haven't listened to A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief in a while, I recommend it!

Pensamiento Espiritual: I finished the Book of Mormon this week and the last couple of chapters are always amazing. It difficult to only choose one idea. I love what Mormon writes to his son while describing what's going on in his part of the land. It was bad, like really bad. But he then says, "My son, be faithful in Christ; and may not the things which I have written grieve thee, to weigh thee down unto death; but may Christ lift thee up, and may his sufferings and death, and the showing his body unto our fathers, and his mercy and long-suffering, and the hope of his glory and of eternal life, rest in your mind forever." When we feel weighed down the the hard and sad things in the world, we can find rest and comfort in Christ.
Os quiero,
