Week 90 (Cosas maravillosas)

Image
We had a wild week here in Cornella! Lots of stuff going on. We had birthday celebrations, baptisms, and concerts for Easter that the missionaries are doing. It's pretty amazing and very special. I am so sorry I don't have a lot of time. But my spiritual thought will kinda be about the baptism we had on Saturday.  Maribel got baptized!! She was so excited and so sure about it. She came to the church looking to grow her faith and she's completely changed her life to do that so it was really awesome! When I asked how she was feeling about her baptism, she said she was, "Nervous, but sure." I love that attitude. It's something I'm also trying to emulate. Sometimes we're nervous about things in life, but we're sure they're the right things so we can do them.  Love you guys! Thanks for all the birthday wishes this week! Pics:

Week 89 (Bro everyone is sick)

Heyyy! As you can probably guess from the title there's a ton of people sick right now in Spain. You go out into the street and like every other person is coughing. Unfortunately, I am not an exception. I've been a little sick for the past 3-4 days. But we didn't let that stop us. We saw lots of little miracles this week though and we had lots of friends with us at church yesterday. It was awesome! The work is really progressing over here and it's been a blessing to see all of it. We have a baptism this Saturday so adicional prayers for Maribel would be greatly appreciated!  Pensamiento Espiritual:  I have zero time. I am so sorry. But you should read section 4 of DC and look for the attributes of Christ!! It's pretty awesome! Os quiero

Week 88 (Vale Venga, Vamos)

We had a good week! We have lots of friends progressing and I'm really excited to see how things go in the future. We should have some baptisms on the 23rd of March so pray for Maribel and María! They're awesome and we'll see how it all goes but they have been so fun to teach and help. So a pretty good week in the books here in Spain.  We helped with a move again, and again, we had to pull up some furniture through the balcony so that was hilarious and very eventful. ALSO, honestly the mission has helped me realize how much I love doing some things and how other things just aren't that important. But one thing that I really miss is playing the piano and being able to play whenever I want. This week while looking for something in the piso (apartment) I came across sheets of piano music!!  So now maybe my Pdays will involve a little more piano jaja.  Pensamiento Espiriual:  One of my favorite secciones of the Book of Mormon are Alma's councils to his sons. Something t...

Week 87 (La Mudanza)

Hey! Hope you're all doing good! We had a pretty cool week here in Cornellà! We spent lots of time with the members this week and it's been really fun to involve them in the work! Our friends are progressing really well and we're working hard. Just lots of blessings in the work so we're feeling good.  2 inches short: We helped a couple move into a piso this week. It was all going well, they had a small spiral staircase that led up to their piso. We very delicately worked this table up to their door and then figured out that this table couldn't fit through, we tried every which way to get this sucker through the door but to no avail. He looks at us and says, "Welp through the balcony then". We worked the table down the 3 flights of stairs, got down and then tied this table with some rope and then pulled this table 3 stories until we got it to the balcony and then got it inside. It was pretty funny and scary at the same time. But it all worked out.  Pensam...
