Week 64 (Touch of the Master's Hand)

Image
Muy buenas mis queridos, hope you had a wonderful week! Las Islas are amazing here in the islands. The weather is cooling off and it's been perfect just about this whole week! We've been blessed in the work here. We have lots of amazing friends and Elder Phelps and I are really excited to see how these next couple of weeks go! (It should be good!) I've been surprised by the amount of people that want to come closer to Christ here in Palma de Mallorca. I've been blessed to be a part of it. I should definitely take more pictures though, that's my bad haha. But yeah we didn't have any intercambios or travels this week so we got to grind in our area the whole week so that was pretty amazing. Marci, Vlad, and Fernando could all use some good prayers!! :)   I don't really know what I should share as a funny story this week so maybe I'll just share a few thoughts about the mission in general. But it's been the biggest blessing I've ever had to be on a m...

Week 63 (Planes Trains and Automobiles)

Hola! Okay so let's jump right in. This week flew by with exchanges and getting down to work. I got to go on an exchange with a newer Elder in the mission named Elder Rabena. He's from the Philippines and has good energy. He's young and the language is coming along but we had a good time and plus I got to eat food from the Philippines so that was a dub. Also, we got to fly down to Menorca, another Island here in Las Baleares, and have an exchange with Elder Pence. It was awesome. It's an amazing island with people from all over the world! We talked to tons of people and saw some good miracles. And then on Saturday morning we took a car to get to the airport, took a plane, hopped from the airport onto a bus to get to the train station, took a train and then we walked to the church to get to district council on time! That was crazy, using almost every mode of transportation!  I'll be honest, that day I was feeling a little tired, kinda worn out. But we had a bunch of ...

Week 62 (Los borrachos)

Hola! Espero que hayáis tenido una buena semana. We had some crazy things go on this week! It was a wild ride. I was able to have 2 intercambios (exchanges) so that was a blessing for sure! I worked with Elder Broadbent for a day and that was epic. We taught a good majority in the street and it was a good time. Later in the week we had our Zone Conference and it was good! President and Hermana Heckmann gave good spiritual messages and the practices that we led actually went pretty well so Elder Phelps and I were pretty happy with it. Our friends are making good progress and it has been the coolest blessing to see the light of Christ light up the lives of the people who choose to accept Him. Pretty amazing! So if you could say extra prayers for Mitzi and Fernando, that would be great!  Los borrachos de las Islas: I have decided that in every area the drunk people behave differently and it's hilarious. Here in the islands there's an island groove and they're all chill and fun...

Week 61 (The Lord will provide)

Muy buenas!! Espero que estéis bien! Basically we had a pretty awesome week, got some good things done! Elder Phelps and I are working hard and getting things done. We have lots of energy for the work so it's been a blast. We had an exchange this week and I got to work with Elder Garff in Manacor on the other side of the island so that was pretty sweet! We also had to fly to Barcelona and back in one day for a meeting so that was an adventure! But it all turned out okay and we were still able to get lots of citas (appointments) set up and everything so it was still a good productive day! We have a good teaching group here in Palma and it's growing day by day. All of our friends have some little things we need to work out, but with the Lord he'll do his part and help those who really want to come to him.  Funny story for this week was a miracle jaja. So basically the other Elders and I here in Palma were running low on funds and didn't have too much food in the piso left...
