Week 60 (we're soaring, flying) (High school musical)

Buenos días, buenas tardes, y noches! Espero que todos vosotros estéis muy bien! The craziness of the week has come and gone. It's been wild. So this week I received transfer news and the news I got was that I'd be hopping on a plane and heading to Palma de Mallorca! So after working like crazy and then throwing everything in some suitcases we were off to catch the plane. I'll really miss Badalona, I was there for 3 amazing transfers and I came to love the ward, friends, and area so much. I've had so many experiences that I'll never forget, and yeah I'm sad to be out of Badalona but I'm thrilled and excited for Palma and the amazing things and people! They're already amazing and I can't wait to get to know them even more.  La tormenta: Okay so I've been here on the island for about 3 days now and the craziest thing happened this past Sunday. There was the craziest storm and we just happened to get right in the middle of it. So we were all suited ...

Week 59 (El durum de todos los durums)

Mi gente!! Que más? I hope you are all still doing wonderful! So basically, this week was awesome and I am so tired but it's okay that's just how it is sometimes. We're digging deep and trying to do everything possible and it's been really really awesome. We've been really blessed with our efforts recently and it's been really humbling to see. We have had a few ups and downs but thankfully more ups than downs!  Okay so I don't know if I've mentioned kebab in my emails but the missionaries go crazy for it here. Imagine a burrito but made in Turkey jaja. Well, there was this place with a deal on a durum (burrito thingy) that was 2 kilos. It was massive, so we bought one and split it between 4 people. It was so funny. I have the picture below to help with a size reference.  Pensamiento Espiritual: Okay so yeah I have too many to choose from but I'll share a scripture from Mosiah that really stood out to me this week. So to kinda set the scene. Alma, a p...

Week 58 (Things are heating up)

Buenas! No tengo tiempo para nada! But that's okay, just know that this week has been wonderful and I've loved it. We've seen a lot of miracles and we've been blessed through our efforts. (The Lord loves Effort!) It's gonna be a great week this next week as well. We're on track to have our friend Ceydi get baptized and married! We might be able to be the witnesses of the wedding and everything! We're figuring it all out but we're really excited! Also pray for Timothy and Carlos, they're awesome and they're doing good! Both have the goal of being baptized early in September.  Something funny that happened this week was when we went to this restaurant from Senegal en Mataró during exchanges this week. Elder LeDuc and I were hyped but the other Elderes were a little skeptical. But it turned out to be bomb. Pensamiento Espiritual: Loved my reading from the Book of Mormon this week, but my thought is going to come from the Bible today. I read Romans...

Week 57 (La Oración)

Okay so I don't have a ton of time I'm sorry, but I had a great week. We found some really awesome people in the street and have made some really good progress with some of our friends! (Pray for Timothy if you can!) But yeah it's been awesome!  Miracle of Week: We were trying to meet with this really cool couple from the Dominican Republic. Their number wasn't working and we couldn't get a hold of them. But Elder Swensen and I just felt so good about them and we had to at least try. We remembered their address so we passed by when we were supposed to have the cita. Someone let us into the building and we knocked every door in this building looking for them and asking if they wanted a message. After we finished we had only gotten "no" but one door didn't answer. With nothing else we could do we knelt down and said a prayer in this apartment building. We stepped outside to try to find them in another building but as we glanced left we saw them and their...
