Buenas! :) Okay so I don't have much time but so many awesome/funny/weird experiences happened this week it was wild. So first, We've been working hard in the streets and it's been awesome. I've really been focusing on teaching in the moment. We've found some amazing people this week, I'll drop some pics. We even met this super cool family from the Dominican Republic, we taught about the Book of Mormon and a bit of the Plan of Salvation. They loved it and even insisted on buying us Dominican drinks and empanadas for us so that was so nice of them! I had two exchanges this week and got to work with Elder Hucks and Elder Murillo. They're awesome and I learned so much.  Funny Story: So during our exchange with Elder Hucks we were street contacting and trying to find some people to teach. Elder Hucks and I see this group of Latinos drinking some beers and so I knew this was going to be a funny contact. Anyway, we go up to them and start talking about Jesus Chr...

Como os va? Espero que hayáis tenido una buena semana, y si no, os prometo que ñas cosas van a cambiar. :) Anyway, we had a great week! But also a crazy crazy didn't even have time to think kind of week, but it's okay! We had zone conference this week and it was sweet! It was our first one with President and Sister Heckmann and they did a great job, it was a great conference and I learned a lot! This week we did a ton of planning for practices, calls, themes, ect. We also had two exchanges, one of which was in a close city called Granollers. We got chased by a crazy dude off of the train so that was a thrill jaja. After our exchange in Granollers we had a good couple of busy days here in Badalona and I feel really good about it! Crazy good week! (Emphasize the crazy.) Quick funny weekly stories: Okay so this week was wild. After a good zone conference, we had exchanges the day after. I got to work with Elder Briones and it was awesome! I learned a ton. Anyway, the next day we g...

Week 54 (Los Cambios)

Holaa!! Espero que hayáis disfrutado el verano! We had transfers this past week and it was fun! I got surprised and I get to stay here in Badalona with a new comp Elder Swensen! I'm pretty stoked about it! We're gonna have an amazing transfer. I'm really short on time today, but I love you all! :)  Pensamiento Espiritual: I was reading through 2 Nefi chapter 9 this week in some if my reading and I never noticed how it step by step explains the Plan of Salvation basically. It's crazy!! But I loved verse 28 and 29.  "28 O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men! When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profiteth them not. And they shall perish. 29 But to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of God." -I thought it had some good insights ...

Week 53 (I got a new brother-in-law this week)

Mi gente!! Espero que hayáis tenido una maravillosa semana!  Emma got married this week and I now have a new brother-in-law!  Congrats  Sam and Emma.  Things are pretty cool up here in Badalona! Elder Hendrix got pretty sick but he battled like a champ for the whole week so we've been able to keep things going. We have some good friends and we're seeing them progress!! We have had lots of time in the streets but it's been amazing. It's just so cool to go out and meet all these awesome people and to share a little love with everyone. With so many cultures and backgrounds here in Badalona everyone has their own stories of how they got here, but they also open up with their difficulties and trials here in a new country without any family or support. It's crazy to see how easily their lives could be blessed with the gospel and literally fix just about every spiritual and temporal problem they have. But it also breaks my heart that these same people who are looking for d...

Week 52 (Sant. Joan = 4th of July)

Hola algo loco pasó esta semana caballeros y señoras y es algo loco. So basically I've been a missionary for over a year now which is kinda wild! And it's wild that right around my year mark the 27th of June we switched mission presidents! I'll be honest, the goodbye to Los Villar was so sad, but the welcome in for Presidente y Hermana Heckmann was super good! Some things have changed in the mission but we have to make sure that we keep the good energy rolling! With the new Presidente we had interviews yesterday and it was good! A little different but that's okay! Anyway, the work is still rolling here in Badalona and it's been amazing to see. The people are humble and ready to hear the gospel!  With our new mission president he changed a few rules. We can now use tu and vostros to communicate with people and it's pretty interesting. Because we couldn't use tu at all before I literally don't know how to have a normal conversation in tu (the informal more...
