Week 51 (Firecrackers in the Streets)

Image
Muuuuuy buenas mis queridos, otra semana ya ha vuelto. It's crazy how fast everything is going by jaja. But a quick little recap on the  week . We spent lots of time in the streets last  week  so we were able to get a good amount of people this  week  to teach! Some of the people are really prepared and I'm excited to see where they all go!  One  of our friends showed us a Latino bakery and it's so good, Elder Hendrix and I have returned to that bakery like 4 times already.  In Spain they like to party so they have a holiday for just about every Saint you can come up with. This  week end it was Sant Joan (Saint John) and Spain just blows everything up jaja. Little kids play with little firecrackers the whole  week  and then on Saturday everyone goes to the beach to pull an all-nighter and light off major fireworks and a BBQ. Also, it's starting to get HOT madre mía. The silver lining is that in our mission we don't have to wear ties...

Week 50 (Una Mezcla de Todo)

Madre mía con intercambios y todo lo que hemos hecho tiempo esta volando! We've had a great  week . We just put our heads down and went to work so it was pretty awesome. We had two intercambios this  week !  One  with Elder Haskett,  one  of the best street contactors in the mission and then  one  with Elder Lozano,  one  of the first people I knew in the mission. He literally taught me how to make a phone call back in August so it was a cool moment to work with him again and to have seen how far we've all come. But we have been in the streets for the majority of the  week  talking, teaching, and inviting and we're finally gaining some traction. I'm really excited about some of the people that we have and I'll keep you updated in the next little bit.  A decent amount of funny things happened this  week  from getting the yells of "aye los mormones están aquí otra vez" (the Mormons are here again) in the str...

Week 49

Madre míaaaaaa okey esta semana no tuve tiempo para respirar jaja. I just didn't have very many free moments this   week . Which is all good, just wild all the time. We had some amazing things happen th   week , councils, zone conference, exchanges, interviews, forms, and baptisms! Just yeah it was absolutely bonkers. Def   one   of the best   week s I've had on my mission though, so spiritual and so emotional. Presidente y Hermana Villar are headed home the first of July and they had their last zone conference with us. It was so tender, and so sad, but so good. I also got to see some good buddies from around the mission so that was pretty hype. In the intercambios (exchanges) I learned so much. I worked with Elder Gunther,   one   of the best missionaries I know and it was awesome. Just to learn and get advice from him was a very special thing. Interviews were also so special and amazing. Los Villar have been amazing and it's hard for me to pictu...

Que tal, espero que estéis bien y hayáis tendió una buena semana! Nuestra semana aquí pasó súper bien!! We've had a great  week !! So we got transfer news in the middle of the  week  and it's been good! I got to stay in Badalona and I'm pretty happy about it. I've had a lot of change recently so being able to stay in this area is nice. I do have a new companion. His name is Elder Hendrix. He's an awesome hardworking missionary from Las Vegas (Henderson)! I've already learned so much from him and I'm so excited for this transfer, it's gonna be awesome!!  Miracles here in Badalona to Madrid! So with Elder Hendrix we had about 3 lessons cancel in a row so we hit the streets and started teaching and talking in the street. We found some cool people and taught a family or two. But  one  of these cool people was a guy from Madrid. I shared a quick message, got his phone number and we went on our way. He then proceeded to tell me on the phone that he was so happ...
