Week 30!?

Image
Vale mi gente, por favor siéntense, resperen, y lean este correo. No voy a decepcionarles. Okay so this  week  was maybe  one  of the more comically funny  week s I've had in the mission so in an effort to give you guys something that lives up to the hype just remember that I can only write a hundredth part of what I want to ajaja. But first, this  week  we've been able to see so many miracles. We had a ton of lunch appointments with members in our ward and it's been so awesome to meet them more. The members are coming to trust us and we're getting so many references it's hard to keep up sometimes jaja. But that is the dream of a missionary so we're desplegando nuestras velas! (Spreading our sails) and riding with the wind jaja. Okay I'm gonna focus my content today on two funny stories.  1 . Why I've accidently become a reference machine for Mexico. 2. The story of why we had to sleep at the senior couples apartment instead of our own. Buc...

Week 29! (We got a 2319!!)

Madre míaaaaa las semanas están corriendo tan rápido no puedo creerlo. This  week  was awesome and so many things happened. We had intercambios this  week  with an unexpected turn, Los Cragheads arrived here in Vic! Unfortunately it's cold here and many Spanish people don't like it so we didn't have too many people at church this  week . But it's all good. ALSO! We have transfer news once again! I get to stay in Vic and finish the training of Elder Dätwyler so I'm so happy!! Definitely needed another transfer here.  The wacky Wednesday with intercambios: Okay so this  week  we had intercambios in Granollers. We had to finish up cleaning the apartment and had the privilege of working with Elder Brough again so we were hyped. But suddenly, there was a call. The missionaries were coming a day early and we were still in Granollers. So we moved some things around, taught a few lessons, and then booked it up to Vic with all four of us. We cleaned the ap...

Week 28 (Traveling and Moving Pisos)

Image
Bon Día mis queridos! Esta semana fue loca pero también super buena! This  week  went by pretty quick so I'll try to break it down. We had interviews with President Villar this  week , soo good! The funny part...we're in Vic and we traveled to Barcelona for the interviews. Interviews were at 7pm so we left at 3:30pm, had our interviews around 7 and then returned to Vic. We got back around 9:30 so uhhhhh lots of public transportation that day. But I got to talk to a lady from Columbia so that was sweet. We had intercambios (exchanges) on Thursday with the zone leaders! Our zone leaders are pretty awesome and I got to work with Elder Rigamonte from Italy and I learned so much from him. And the most exciting and yet the saddest news of the  week , we moved pisos! (apartments) in Vic. We had the best piso in the whole mission, no exaggeration, our towel rack was even heated so my towel was always warm when I got out of the shower. Our new piso is still awesome thoug...

Week 27!! (Los Tres Reyes!)

Hola buenas mis queridos familia y amigos! Ojalá que tuviera algo diferente para decir cada semana pero solo quedo pocas ideas más. I hope you guys are doing awesome and your year is off to a great start. Spain just keeps getting better and better. We had intercambios (exchanges) this  week  and I got to work with Elder Brough so you already know it was awesome.  One  of our non-proselytizing jobs in Vic is to open a new piso (apartment). It's pretty spacious and we're super lucky to have it, but it does mean extra work, so we've been organizing, moving furniture, ect. Pretty cool though! On Friday night we had a great zoom call and all three missions in Spain got to listen to John Bytheway! As always it was funny, uplifting, and enlightening. Our friends are still progressing and moving forward. We're also working hard on finding more people to teach this next  week . We had 3 friends come to church with us this  week ! Dídac already has a strong testimony...
